Supporting the Broader HR Community: RIKA Africa at NewSchoolHR

At RIKA Africa, our mission has always extended beyond our own programme. We believe that a stronger HR community across Africa benefits everyone — and that means showing up for the work others are doing too.

That's why we were proud to be part of a recent forum hosted by NewSchoolHR, one of Africa's most dynamic HR communities, bringing together over 300 members from 14 countries. The event brought together HR practitioners, legal experts, and forensic specialists in Nairobi for a forum focused on the future of internal investigations and HR practice in Kenya. It created a platform for dialogue on how organisations can strengthen accountability while protecting both institutional integrity and employee rights, which is exactly the kind of conversation that moves the profession forward.

It was an energising reminder of the depth of talent and commitment within Africa's HR ecosystem.

RIKA Africa and NewSchoolHR share a common conviction: that developing people leaders is critical work. As part of our growing relationship, we were delighted to extend a discounted invitation to NewSchoolHR members to attend our most recent RIKA Summit — a small gesture of solidarity and an investment in the kind of cross-community connection we'd like to see more of.

We look forward to continuing to build this partnership and to finding more ways to collaborate, learn, and grow together.
